About the role
Mater Health has an exceptional opportunity for a Rostering Specialist to join the team. This full-time, 18 month maximum-term opportunity will be based at our South Brisbane site.
The HR Rostering Specialists partner with departments to maximise workforce utilisation across Mater Services. The Rostering Specialist will work with the business to ensure optimal quality of rosters, taking into consideration compliance with relevant legislations.
Salary range: $93,103 - $102,572 per annum plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Typical duties of the role will include:
Partnering with the local business unit to maximise workforce utilisation and provide rosters in line with best practice rostering.
Applying skilled knowledge including the understanding of concepts, processes, procedures and principles, to check for accuracy.
Analyse and recommend alternatives in the use of the HR rostering system.
Investigating interpreting and evaluating information as relates to legislation, regulations, instructions, procedures and guidelines relating to rostering governance.
Checking and interpreting complex information to determine and implement next steps and actions for managers around rosters and pay close.
Coaching and training Managers.
About you
The successful candidate will ideally have a bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a similar role in a complex organisation coupled with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: HRIS, Human Resources, Payroll and/or Rostering.
Demonstrated experience in change and incident management (ITIL).
