About the role
Mater Private Hospital Brisbane Gynaecology, Urology and Plastics Surgical Ward currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional Enrolled Nurse in a permanent full-time capacity, based at South Brisbane.
Mater Private Hospital is a tertiary, acute facility built on a foundation of clinical excellence and a commitment to safe, compassionate care that is quality focused, technologically advanced, and customised to patients’ needs and lifestyle. With a total of 323 patient beds, 10 operating theatres, a 24 hour private emergency service and comprehensive ICU facilities.
Salary range: $35.92 - $38.21 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
The Gynaecology, Urology and Plastics Surgical unit provides a high level of specialised care to patients, their families and visitors, via a supportive team consisting of a Nurse Manager, Clinical Facilitator and Clinical, Registered and Enrolled Nurses.
Whilst maintaining the highest level of clinical standards, you will be responsible for achieving optimal patient outcomes, updating your knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth, implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management, and providing support to the Nurse Manager.
About you
- Current AHPRA registration
- Completion of Graduate EEN Nursing Program
- Demonstrated clinical expertise, knowledge and experience in the aforementioned specialties
- Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
- Effective communication and clinical problem solving skills to maximise patient care outcomes
- Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
