About the role
Mater Health is seeking an experienced Service Development Coordinator in a maximum term 12 month contract, part time 16 hours per week .
The Service Development Coordinator will be part of the broader leadership team in Catherine’s House. It will work closely with the Operational Manager and Medical Director of Catherine’s House. The role will work closely with the other Mater Health, education and research staff and external stakeholders including consumer groups.
Salary range: $64.64 - $69.55 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
The Service Development Coordinator will have experience and expertise in infant and perinatal mental health. The role will develop a quality and safety program for mental health and young adult programs that aligns with Maters overarching quality and safety framework.
The role will lead, coordinate and actively participate in service evaluation as well as quality and safety initiatives. It will work closely with the multidisciplinary teams across the inpatient and outpatient services and support translation of best practice into clinical practice. The role will also work with consumer and peer programs / positions to ensure the voice of lived experience is embedded in clinical services and evaluation. It will be central to establishing, evaluating and redesigning new services within CHMBF in consultation with the leadership group and Operational Manager.
About you
Qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health or other health-related disciplines
Masters level or above
Expertise in Infant and perinatal mental health (desirable)
Qualification in health service management (desirable)
Qualification in education or project management (desirable)
Qualification in a higher degree in research (desirable)
Experience in developing health policies and program development (desirable)
Data management (desirable)
Experience providing clinical supervision (desirable)
Research experience / publications (desirable)
Service evaluation (desirable)
