About the role
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated Rehabilitation Unit in a Permanent Part Time (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week) position.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care that helps patients regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You'll play a valued role in delivering exceptional care while continuing to grow your clinical skills in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Salary range: $37.00 - $39.36 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with Registered Nurses and the wider healthcare team, you will support the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate rehabilitation care.
You will:
Deliver patient-centred nursing care within your scope of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, comfort and recovery goals.
Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans.
Monitor, recognise and report changes in patients' health status and clinical condition.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes in a timely manner.
Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
Support patient education and encourage participation in their recovery journey.
Maintain a safe clinical environment through adherence to workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, professional development and mandatory training activities.
About you
You are a caring and motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
You will bring:
Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality patient care within an acute or rehabilitation setting.
Strong clinical assessment, observation and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to delivering patient-centred care with compassion, dignity and respect.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
Sound documentation and clinical reporting skills.
A proactive approach to ongoing learning, professional development and quality improvement.
