About the role
We are seeking an innovative and collaborative Education Delivery Manager to lead the operational delivery of education and training programs across the Springfield Education Hub and SouthWest Region. This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a values-driven leader to influence student success, strengthen industry partnerships, and build a culture of excellence across a diverse education portfolio.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of vocational education programs, including Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS), ensuring students receive engaging, industry-relevant learning experiences that support future career pathways.
Working closely with academic leaders, including the Head of Discipline Senior Manager – Diploma of Nursing and Senior Manager – Certificate Programs, you will bring operational expertise to ensure programs are delivered effectively, sustainably, and in alignment with quality, compliance, and organisational priorities.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As the Education Delivery Manager, you will:
- Provide inspiring leadership, coaching, and support to education delivery teams across Springfield and the SouthWest Region.
- Drive excellence in teaching delivery, student outcomes, retention, and learner satisfaction.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of education delivery.
- Oversee VETiS delivery, working collaboratively with schools to create meaningful learning opportunities for students.
- Manage operational requirements including workforce planning, timetabling, resources, and site operations.
- Build strong relationships with industry, employers, schools, community organisations, and key stakeholders to ensure programs remain responsive to workforce needs.
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Support quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement practices aligned with vocational education requirements.
About you
You are an experienced education or training leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys bringing people together to achieve shared goals.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring education or training teams.
- Strong operational management capability across sites, programs, or complex service environments.
- A proven ability to develop people, manage performance, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Experience building effective partnerships with industry, employers, schools, and community stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Vocational Education and Training sector, including ASQA requirements and quality standards.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical operational delivery.
Experience within nursing, health-related vocational education, or workforce development environments will be highly regarded, but we welcome applications from passionate education leaders with transferable experience.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
Desirable:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in education, leadership, management, business, or a related discipline.
