About the role
Mater Private Hospital Mackay has multiple exciting opportunities available for an experienced Registered Nurse to work within our Perioperative Clinic on a permanent full-time basis.
Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurse, who will be motivated by a challenging and fast paced environment.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following criteria:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (without restrictions)
Minimum of one-year post-graduate perioperative or Scrub-Scout experience.
Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients at all times
Please note all Candidates will need to have the ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
