Mater Clinical Education Team is seeking an experienced PACU Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join the team in a permanent part-time Clinical Facilitator position working 32 hours per week based at South Brisbane.
The PACU Clinical Facilitator will work closely with the Education Coordinator to support the delivery of education strategies aligned with Mater Health’s Strategic and Operational Plans. The role has a strong focus on supporting graduate nurses and departmental staff through clinical education, facilitation, competency development and ongoing professional development.
You will promote and implement best practice and evidence-based care, foster critical thinking and clinical problem-solving, and support consistency and excellence in care delivery through a robust practice development and education model.
As the PACU Clinical Facilitator , you will be responsible for:
Supporting the professional development of graduate nurses and the broader PACU nursing team, with a strong commitment to education and the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
You will have a minimum of three years of recent clinical experience working as a PACU Facilitator, Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse within the perioperative environment. Experience in obstetrics is highly desirable.
