Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Provide patient-centred nursing care within scope of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
  • Support patients with activities of daily living
  • Contribute to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and review of care plans and clinical pathways
  • Collect, document, and report accurate information on patients’ health and functional status
  • Recognise and promptly report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
  • Deliver safe, effective clinical care in line with care plans and professional standards
  • Organise and prioritise workload to support planned nursing care, adjusting priorities as required
  • Provide comfort, support, and education to patients and their family/carers, respecting cultural and spiritual values
  • Ensure communication, documentation, and reporting are timely, accurate, and support therapeutic outcome

About you 

Ideally you will have a prior comparable experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a hospital or aged care facility.

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with APHRA
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Experience in an acute hospital setting desired but not essential
  • Medication administration education that ensures exclusion of Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency notation
  • Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
  • Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care and outcomes
  • Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
  • Demonstrates a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
