Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking applications from motivated and experienced ICU Registered Nurses to work within our public and private ICU departments. We have multiple opportunities available for full and part-time positions.

Salary range: $33.73 - $43.34 (Registered Nurse Level 1) per hour plus superannuation

What you’ll be doing

As a Registered Nurse in ICU, you will have a strong patient-service focus, demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement, willingness to facilitate and encourage cohesive, positive professional relationships and be required to demonstrate problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes relevant to the ward.

You will work closely with the nursing team of CNs, RNs and ENs to seamlessly integrate to this friendly and professional team.  This challenging and rewarding position will utilise your abilities and see you become a valued member of the team.

About you

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration (no restrictions)
  • At least 12 months postgraduate ICU experience as a Registered Nurse

You will be approachable with a mature and confident attitude, have the ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced, high acuity environment.
