About the role
Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking a Enrolled Nurse to work within our Day Surgery team. This position will be employed on a permanent part time basis, 16 hours per week. Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope’s Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater’s commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.
Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport. This facility was established in 2016 and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.
Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You will provide safe, high-quality care across multiple areas within Mater Mothers’, supporting a range of clinical needs. Your flexibility and experience will allow you to adapt across different wards and be a valued member of our team.
- Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
- Working with and supporting colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment
About you
To be successful in your application, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
- Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care and outcomes
- Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
- Demonstrates a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
