About the role

Are you passionate about developing the future and current health workforce and sharing your industry expertise? We are seeking dedicated Vocational Education Teachers with two permanent part‑time (0.6FTE and 0.8FTE) roles available in South Brisbane though working in various locations as needed. . 

This is a rewarding opportunity to teach, mentor, and inspire students in classroom, simulated, clinical, and school‑based learning environments.

Programs Include:

  • Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) programs
  • Additional health and community services pathways as required
  • Continuing professional development programs (CPD) as required
  • Certificate programs as required if relevant

 Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits!  

 What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering engaging, compliant, and industry‑aligned training and assessment
  • Supporting a diverse range of learners, including school‑based students
  • Creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
  • Maintaining accurate training and assessment records
  • Collaborating with industry partners, schools, and education teams
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and quality education outcomes

About you

  • Relevant qualifications and current industry experience (Nursing, Health or Community services)
  • Training and assessment credentials (TAE or equivalent), or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of VET compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A learner‑centred, professional, and adaptable approach
  • Experience working with school‑aged learners (for Vocational Education in Schools roles).
