About the role
The Mater Group Finance - Procurement department are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Business Analyst with a drive for transformation and modernisation in this full-time, 9-month max term contract based at our Newstead offices.

As the Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the transformation of our supply chain operations. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will identify inefficiencies, gather detailed business requirements and prioritise key pain points in our supply chain processes.

Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, logistics, clinicians and DTI, you will lead efforts to standardise and optimise our supply chain systems and processes. Your expertise in warehouse management and supply chain structures, specifically in product catalogue management, materials requirements planning (MRP) and ERP systems, with a focus on Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM), will be essential in this role. Take part in our major project to uplift Mater’s supply chain performance and support our long-term sustainability.

• Evaluate and improve existing supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
• Gather and prioritise business requirements for supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to implement solutions in D365 SCM.
• Streamline end-to-end supply chain workflows, such as procure-to-pay and demand planning.
• Ensure alignment of transformation initiatives with business goals and compliance requirements.
• Manage project documentation, risk, and milestones.
• Set up and manage product catalogues, inventory parameters, and supply chain workflows in D365 SCM.
• Cleanse and standardise master data for products, vendors and inventory.

About you

As an experienced Business Analyst, you have a strong desire to excel in your field and possess a deep understanding of finance, supply chain and data management.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Data Management, or related field required.
• Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Logistics, desired.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma, desired.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of supply chain functions.
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM and ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain structures, procurement, and inventory management.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies is a plus.
• Strong experience in supply chain transformation, process improvements, and system implementations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain data governance, reporting and compliance standards with the ability to analyse large supply chain data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
