Mater Foundation, one of Queensland’s largest healthcare fundraising organisations is looking for a dynamic, future focussed, values based Marketing Automation Specialist to join the team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead campus.

What you’ll be doing 

Working closely with various stakeholders, you will be delivering the marketing automation journeys for several of our donor appeals, campaigns and always on journeys. You will also:  

  • Work with key stakeholders on audience and segmentation approaches to one-off and always on campaigns. 
  • Write EDM copy for acquisition, retention, and engagement content for allocated campaigns and programs. 
  • Develop, test and publish mid to complex marketing automation journeys and one off sends utilising segments, attributes and personalisation in the Braze email marketing platform. 
  • Work closely with other areas of marketing and fundraising to develop and implement other complementary content for thecampaigns including video, photographic and written content. 
  • Bring a performance focussed mindset, utilising reporting and analytics to support data driven decision making  

About you 

You’re a self-starter who takes initiative. Your curious mind will find you looking at data and reporting to recommend test and learn opportunities and seek continuous improvement in campaigns. You will have the ability to write, build, test and send EDM communications and report on key metrics from digital dashboards for campaign insights. You will also meet the below criteria:  

  • Experience with data segmentation, targeting and personalisation within an email marketing platform.  
  • Technical platform skills, including: 
    *Email Marketing/Marketing Automation platforms (Braze desirable) 
    *Reporting and Analytics platforms (GA, Looker Studio and Amplitude nice to have) 
    *Project management tools (Monday.com experience desirable)  
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver agreed digital marketing assets and collateral on budget and within designated deadlines, flexible and adaptable to changing needs. 
  •  Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Highly organised with ability to schedule and use time effectively. Attention to detail, including ability to coordinate multiple project requests to meet deadlines and prioritise appropriately.   
  • Stakeholder engagement: Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to work seamlessly across teams & departments  
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills focused on enhancing customer experiences through persuasive writing and on-brand copy for email, SMS and DM campaigns   
  • Advanced analytical skills, data-driven mindset, and ability to monitor, analyse, and report campaign performance against KPIs. 
  • Curious mindset with experience in optimisation testing processes and best practices. 
  • Continuous growth mindset for learning and adaptability to industry trends. 
  • Flexibility in managing changing priorities within a dynamic work environment. 
  • Understanding of broader digital marketing concepts and best practices. 
  • Competent ability to use the MS suite including MS Outlook (email and task scheduling) and MS Word (correspondence) 
  • Proficient in Design, HTML5, CSS, and advanced technical aspects of email marketing (preferred).
