About the role
Mater’s Digital Technology and Information Division is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 12-month maximum-term contract. This exciting opportunity, driving significant innovation and utilising Cloud technologies, will help to modernise Maters Data & Analytics capability. This role reports to our Program Manager where you will lead the delivery of our Data Hub project.
The objectives include consolidating and streamlining current reporting solutions, establishing uniform data governance practices, and maintaining high data quality standards. The strategy involves offering self-service capabilities to users, along with Standardised Dashboards and reports.
The overall project goal is to centralise and consolidate analytics whilst empowering individuals, through self-service capabilities, enabling data-driven decisions.
Salary: $139,436 - $149,640 per annum plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As our Senior Project Manager you will:
- Manage the successful delivery of all components required to deliver the Project scope of work
- Coordinate the delivery across Mater Group addressing challenges
- Design and develop components of the work to be delivered
- Drive a fit for purpose change management strategy using a structured methodology and leadership of change management activities
- Provide advice to the Steering Committee on all aspects of the project
- Prepare regular progress reports and supporting documents
- Promote the project goals, manage communications and quickly establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage escalated risks in collaboration with the project sponsors
- Actively partner with consumers and patients, as well as interprofessional colleagues, to determine service and operational objectives
- Analyse business data to inform strategic decisions, respond to issues and trends, and maintain and report on key metrics
- Recognise and address inefficiencies in service provision
- Actively manage project budget and resource assets to deliver strong financial performance
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and identifies strategic and operational opportunities for improved financial outcomes
- Set a clear strategic direction over the project time period, construct clear operational and action plans for work within a 1-year period
- Effectively manages key relationships across peers and clients throughout Mater
About you
We are searching for someone who is/has:
- Project management experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Project Management; and/or Prince2 Certification
- High level experience in complex stakeholder management and relationship building
- Demonstrated change management/business readiness experience and expertise
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a health care environment mandatory
- Previous experience working on a Patient Administrative System (PAS) projects mandatory (desirable experience and knowledge with webPAS)
